DANUBE STRATEGIC PROJECT FUND – NEW OPPORTUNITY OF EUSDR FOR FUNDING

Danube Strategic Project Fund – new opportunity of EUSDR for funding

The Danube Strategic Project Fund (DSPF) is a new facility aimed at supporting the implementation of transnational strategic projects aligned with the objective of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR), with a specific added value at the interfaces between cohesion and enlargement/neighbourhood policy. It is co-financed with funds provided to the European Commission by the European Parliament, as well as by funds of the City of Vienna, and will be managed by PA 10 (City of Vienna) in close cooperation with its affiliated entity EuroVienna.

We are happy to announce that the structure of the DSPF is set up and summarized in the attached “DSPF Implementation Manual”.

PACs together with their SGs can invite eligible organisations that are working on the preparation or implementation of strategic projects to submit an application for DSPF funding.

PACs can decide which organisations / projects consortia shall receive the documents and subsequently can complete and submit an application until 15th of February 2017. Up to 5 completed project proposals per Priority Area can be forwarded to EuroVienna up to 3rd of March 2017.

Interested applicants can be referred to PA10 webpage for more information.

In case an organisation / partnership has a project idea that fits into the DSPF and PA5 Coordinator of the EUSDR is responsible for the main topic of the project initiation, can be contacted directly for support.

The application pack is available through the Priority Area 5 Coordinators and please be aware thatsubmission deadline is 15th of February.
