DAREFFORT PROJECT MEETING

The second overall meeting and the first Periodic Meeting of DAREFFORT was held in Vienna, Austria, on 4-5th February 2019.

The main objective of the event was the discussion of the initial results of the project as all partner countries will provide a presentation on their current progress. The two-day meeting had three main parts:

Capitalisation Event
Data Provider Conference
Danube Forecasting Forum with Country Reports

During the Capitalisation Event, several Danube Transnational Programme projects had the opportunity to present their objectives. It also served as a platform to form future partnerships.

The Data Provider Conference was the technical part of the two-days event, where the project partners introduced the possible solution for data managment.

The second day hosted the Danube Forecasting Forum. The keynote speakers highlighted the importance of forecasting and the activities of their respective agencies. The reports of the countries was also presented to have an overview if the situation in the region.
