We would like to draw your attention to the public consultation “Overcoming cross-border obstacles” by DG REGIO, open until 20th September 2020.
The consultation is targeted at citizens and key stakeholders in the context of cross-border cooperation and its purpose is to
(1) obtain a comprehensive overview of the developments made since the adoption of the 2017 Communication on EU Border Regions, and of remaining border obstacles and/or possible new ones;
(2) set the path for formulating constructive recommendations on the future policy for cross-border regions.
The consultation covers both internal EU border regions, as well as border regions encompassing regions in EU countries and EFTA/EEA countries.
