Interreg–IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary–Serbia 2014-2020 project WATERatRISK, “Improvement of drought and excess water monitoring for supporting water management and mitigation of risks related to extreme weather conditions”, closing conference will be held on 20 September 2019 in Szeged.
The main objective of the project is to mitigate risks related to weather extremes in the Hungarian-Serbian cross-border region by developing novel solutions for monitoring drought, inland excess water and canal conditions; quantifying agricultural and economic risks; facilitating integrated canal management; and establishing a joint HUSRB-CB Drought and Excess Water Management Centre.
